I am filled with hope
when I remember this:
God’s great love never ends.
His tender compassions never fail.

His mercies begin afresh each morning.
Great is Your faithfulness!
My innermost self says,
“The Lord is my inheritance;
I will hope in Him!”

God is good to those
who passionately wait,
and to those who
diligently seek Him.
It is good to wait patiently,
to quietly hope for help from God.

It’s a good thing when you’re young
to stick it out through the hard times.

   Lamentations 3:21-27
